What is RidePickup?
RidePickup arranges Los Angeles airport transfers with experienced, professional Chinese-speaking drivers we assign. You book your transfer with us at a fixed price agreed up front, and a professional driver we arrange carries out the trip — so you know exactly who’s picking you up and exactly what it costs before you travel.
How is this different from Uber or Lyft?
Uber and Lyft are on-demand apps with metered, surge-based pricing and whichever driver happens to be nearby. RidePickup is a pre-booked airport-transfer service: you reserve ahead, the price is fixed, your flight is tracked, and we assign an experienced Chinese-speaking driver. It’s built for airport runs where you want certainty, not a last-minute ride across town.
Are the drivers Chinese-speaking?
Yes. We assign experienced, professional drivers who speak Mandarin and Cantonese as well as English. That’s why so many of our customers are visitors, families, and students who’d rather sort out luggage, addresses, and timing in Chinese.
Does RidePickup operate the vehicles itself?
The trip is carried out by a professional driver we arrange. We organize your transfer end to end — matching the right driver and vehicle, tracking your flight, and locking in your price — so you deal with one point of contact for the whole booking.

Which Los Angeles airports do you cover?
All of the LA-area airports: LAX (Los Angeles International), BUR (Hollywood Burbank), SNA (John Wayne / Orange County), LGB (Long Beach), and ONT (Ontario International). We do both pickups from the airport and drop-offs to catch your flight.
Do you track my flight?
Yes. Give us your flight number when you book and your driver monitors it, so if you land early or late the pickup time adjusts automatically. There’s no extra charge if your flight is delayed.
Will the driver meet me inside the terminal?
We offer meet-and-greet for arrivals: your driver waits at the agreed meeting point and helps with luggage. For curbside pickups, the driver coordinates with you by phone, text, or WeChat as you come out. Just tell us which you prefer when you book.
Do you do late-night and red-eye pickups?
Yes — we arrange transfers around the clock, including late-night arrivals and very early-morning departures. Book ahead for overnight trips so a driver is assigned and ready the moment your flight lands.

Booking & changes

How do I book a transfer?
Click Book now, then tell us your airport, date and time, flight number, pickup or drop-off address, and how many passengers and bags. We confirm your driver and fixed price before the trip. The whole thing takes a couple of minutes.
How far ahead should I book?
At least 12–24 hours ahead so we can assign the right driver and vehicle. For early-morning departures, red-eye arrivals, holidays, and larger groups, 2–3 days ahead is best. Same-day requests are sometimes possible — contact us and we’ll confirm availability.
Can I change or cancel my booking?
Yes — contact us as early as you can. With reasonable notice, changes and cancellations are straightforward. Last-minute changes depend on driver availability, but we’ll always do our best to accommodate flight changes.
Can you handle larger groups and lots of luggage?
Yes. Tell us your group size and how many bags — including oversized items like golf clubs, strollers, or skis — and we’ll assign an SUV or van with enough room. For very large groups we can arrange more than one vehicle.

Pricing & payment

Is the price fixed?
Yes. You get a fixed, all-in price for your airport transfer, agreed before the trip. No meter, no surge pricing, and no surprise charges if traffic is heavy or your flight is delayed. The price only changes if you change the trip itself — extra stops, a different route, or many more passengers or bags.
How do I pay?
We confirm the fixed price when you book and arrange payment with you — common methods include card, WeChat Pay, Zelle, Venmo, PayPal, or cash. Whatever you use, the price is the one agreed up front.
Do I tip the driver?
Tipping is entirely optional and never required. Many customers tip 10–20% for great service, the same as any chauffeur or car service, but it’s always your call.
What if my flight is delayed — will it cost more?
No. Because we track your flight, a delay just shifts your pickup time. The fixed price you agreed up front stays the same.

Your trip

Can you provide child seats?
Yes. Tell us how many child seats you need and the type — infant, toddler, or booster — when you book, and we’ll assign a vehicle equipped for it. Please request child seats in advance so the right car is ready.
Do you drive to other cities from Los Angeles?
Yes. Beyond LA airport transfers, we arrange city-to-city trips starting from Los Angeles — for example LA to Las Vegas, San Diego, or Palm Springs. Contact us with your route and we’ll give you a fixed price.
What if my plans change at the last minute?
Just reach out as soon as you know. Whether it’s a flight delay, an early arrival, or a change of address, contact us or your assigned driver and we’ll adjust the plan. Earlier notice always gives us more options.
